About Al Rabanera
Dr. Al Rabanera is an award-winning educator, program designer, and equity advocate with over 20 years of experience supporting at-promise students.
He led the development of award winning programs that integrates social-emotional learning, college and career readiness, and restorative practices to increase student engagement and achievement.
Al has championed culturally responsive instruction and MTSS-aligned interventions that humanize learning and foster student belonging. His leadership extends nationally, serving on multiple advisory boards and committees.
Al holds a Doctor of Education from the University of Southern California.
